Here at Ordio Productions we are heavily focused on digital mastering, stereo re-mixing and re-mastering. Our Mastering team are very serious about this critical stage of the recording process. We listen to our clients and respect what results they are looking for. When warranted, less is more as there is nothing worse than a soft pop song being over cooked or a rock track being painted with fairy fingers. We will always provide professional advice to suit each record and master your recordings to give it the highest commercial value as possible. The customer needs to be happy with the result, if not we simply do it again. We take into consideration the extensive variables of sound quality across small to large Hi Fi systems, car stereos, P.A systems and the latest MP3 devices & find the best medium. At the end of the day we exist to "make great music sound it's best"
Our Rates
As every clients needs can vary, so does the level of detail required to fulfill those needs. We offer a number of services within the mastering process, our rates depend on the service(s) you require. If you have a set budget for mastering then we will always work within that and not go over it. We do encourage anyone who is looking to come to us to call ahead and discuss your projects expectations prior to making a booking, this often helps us provide you with a more accurate quotation. We are here to support independent artists and bands so we have tailored our rates to suit that level of the market. Session Files
Our mastering studio is compatible with most Mac & PC recording file formats, however if your project has been recorded on a proprietary system that needs specific hardware or software please let us know in advance so we can work with you to complete your requests. We are fully equipped with the following: Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Digital Performer, Audio Desk, Peak Pro & Cubase.
The Final Product
Every client is issued with a PMCD (Production Master CD) upon completion, we check for any errors on the master copy by listening to it uninterrupted in its entirety. Ordio Productions also keeps your project for 3 years, the copy of the master files are safely backed up and stored away. Changes to your projetcs and additional copies can be requested at anytime and supplied to you in 24 or 16-Bit, 44.1 or 48kHz .wav files.
Digital File Delivery
If you are unable to send us your pre-master files via post or in person you can send your tracks digitally through our trusted third party file sharing sites. We recommend sending uncompressed high resolution files via You Send it, SoundCloud or your official 'Drop-box' account. Any questions? mastering@ordioproductions.com.au
