Every design decision is focused on ensuring that the incoming signal is reproduced exactly as intended, only at significantly higher levels, while maintaining control, stability, and low distortion under extreme operating conditions.
Housed in a 2U chassis, Dynaudio Delta 80 delivers an exceptional level of output power, producing up to 2000W per channel into 4 ohms, or an extraordinary 4000W when channels are bridged. Despite these output levels, the amplifier operates with impressively low distortion and noise, with THD measured at less than 0.18 percent at 1kHz. This makes Dynaudio Delta 80 suitable for large-format monitoring systems, high-output multi-way speaker configurations, and demanding fixed installations.
Dynaudio Delta 80 supports up to four channels of audio, selectable between analogue inputs and audio over IP via Dante. When operating over Dante, audio is converted using high-quality 24-bit, 96kHz digital-to-analogue converters, preserving resolution and accuracy throughout the signal path. This dual-mode operation ensures long-term compatibility with both traditional analogue infrastructures and modern networked audio systems.
To support mission-critical applications, Dynaudio Delta 80 includes built-in back-up amplifier redundancy, allowing production or system operation to continue even in the event of an amplifier issue. For multi-way systems, the amplifier can be directly connected to a Delta DSP amplifier using a single Cat 5 cable, eliminating the need for external processing hardware and simplifying system integration.
