The Neve 1073DPA provides two Class A Neve® 1073® microphone preamplifiers in a single rack space, without the additional EQ found on the classic 1073 unit – offering the very essence of the legendary 1073 sound.
The Neve 1073DPA uses exclusive Marinair® transformers in both the input and output stages, capturing the legendary 1073® sound. With a discrete, class-A topology, the preamp features a through-hole construction, including Marinair® transformers and class-A transistor-based amplifiers.
The 5dB stepped Elma switch provides precise gain levels without needing a mic/line switch. Three distinct gain stages from two transistor-based preamps offer ample gain for DI, line input, or microphone signals, reaching up to 80dB of microphone gain.
The impedance settings (1.2kΩ and 300Ω) cater to various microphones, while the 180-degree phase flip is ideal for multi-microphone setups, such as top and bottom snare micing.
