Radial Engineering SixPack 6-Slot Power Rack for 500 Series

The Radial Engineering SixPack is a rugged 6-slot desktop power rack for 500 Series modules, built to let you mix and match up to six processors and power them safely in a compact, portable format. Its heavy 14-gauge steel chassis with powder-coat finish adds durability and effective shielding from stray magnetic fields, while the external power supply connects via a locking 5-pin XLR to reduce induced noise.

Each slot’s card edge mates to a double-sided EDAC 15-pin receptacle that is fully compatible with the classic API pin format, and built-in protection helps ensure a faulty module cannot compromise the rest of your rack. With a powerful 1600 mA shared supply delivering an average of over 265 mA per slot, even current-hungry valve modules are properly supported.

Connectivity is extensive. The rear panel provides XLR inputs and outputs for every slot, paralleled with 6.35 mm TRS sockets for easy multing, cross-patching, and parallel processing. A pair of 25-pin D-Sub connectors integrates the Radial Engineering SixPack directly with your workstation.

Two front-panel XLRs can be routed either to the D-Sub or to inputs 1 and 4 for quick microphone patching without reaching behind the rack. For fast internal routing, a feed switch lets you cascade one slot into the next in series, while a link switch pairs stereo-ready modules.

Each slot in the Radial Engineering SixPack also includes an Omniport 6.35 mm TRS jack that manufacturers can map to specialised functions, expanding creative options for building stereo channel strips, travel-ready recording chains, or a versatile analogue side-car for warming digital tracks.
