The Harrison 32Cpre+ is a 500 Series preamp that captures the character of the transformer-coupled design from the legendary Harrison 32Classic console. Drawing on the heritage of the iconic Harrison 3232, this module delivers the same warm tone and musical response that defined countless records of the 70s and 80s.
Providing +20 to +70 dB of smooth gain, the 32Cpre+ handles everything from delicate ribbons to modern condensers with ease. Essential controls include phase reverse, +48V phantom power, a -20 dB pad, and a HiZ impedance option. A convenient front-panel combo XLR/¼” jack makes it easy to connect microphones or instruments directly.
True to Harrison tradition, the 32Cpre+ integrates the company’s revered high- and low-pass filters. With 12 dB/octave slopes and a musical response, the HPF offers a 25 Hz–3.1 kHz range with a 3 dB resonant peak, while the LPF covers 160 Hz–20 kHz. Together with its Jensen transformer front end, the result is a preamp that delivers a full, balanced low end, open midrange, and smooth, natural highs.
