The Chandler Limited TG12411 Channel blends a TG2 preamp with an inductor-based EQ inspired by the TG12410 Transfer Console. It delivers vintage EMI tone with smooth highs, rich lows, and focused mid cuts, reminiscent of classic Pultec and Lang equalisers.
Chandler Limited TG12411 Channel
The Chandler Limited TG12411 Channel, previously known as the TG Channel MKII, recreates a combination of vintage EMI circuits.
It features a TG2 preamp section designed by Wade Goeke, paired with an equaliser derived from the TG12410 Transfer Console, the mastering version of the original EMI desks used during the Beatles era.
The active components share the same discrete amplifiers and transformers found in the Chandler TG1 Limiter and TG2 preamp. Its passive EQ is a fully inductor-based design, delivering smooth, musical highs, deep low-end shaping, and a narrow high-Q mid cut.
Sonically, the Chandler Limited TG12411 Channel sits in the same territory as Pultec and Lang program equalisers, with the overall character best described as a TG-style Pultec combined with a TG preamp.
