The d&b Audiotechnik 24C-E passive extender is designed to complement the d&b Audiotechnik 24C column loudspeaker, housing six 4” neodymium drivers that extend vertical directivity by an additional octave down to 190 Hz.
The d&b Audiotechnik 24C-E connect passively, requiring only a single amplifier channel. The 4″ drivers are arranged in a cardioid configuration with damped ports at the rear, achieving broadband rear attenuation of approximately 18 dB.
Constructed with an extruded aluminium back and a metal baffle, the d&b Audiotechnik 24C-E is protected on the front and sides by a metal grille. It includes extendable rails for easy attachment to the 24C, and N-lok connectors are integrated within the cabinet for secure linking with the 24C loudspeaker. Available in standard white or black, the xC-Series also offers a Special Colour (SC) option, allowing customisation in any RAL colour.
