d&b Audiotechnik 27S Subwoofer

The d&b Audiotechnik 27S Subwoofer features two long-excursion neodymium drivers in an integrated cardioid setup: a 15″ driver in a bass-reflex design facing forward and a 12″ driver in a two-chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear. It can be used standalone, stacked, or flown individually.

Constructed from marine plywood with an impact-resistant black paint finish, the enclosure is rated Ball Impact Resistant according to DIN 18032-3, ideal for schools and sports facilities. The cabinet’s front is protected by a sturdy metal grille backed by acoustically transparent foam.

The side panels include M10 threaded inserts, while the rear panel provides two NL4 connectors and a two-pole screw terminal block. Available in the Special Colour (SC) option for custom RAL colours, the subwoofer also has a Weather Resistant (WR) option with an IP55 rating, ensuring reliable performance in varying environmental conditions.
