dBTechnologies VIO L210 is a compact 2-way active line array with 900 W RMS power, precision waveguide, phase-plug LF design, FIR-based DSP and RDNet control for coherent, high-definition coverage.

As a result of many years of experience developing solutions for powered line array systems, dBTechnologies VIO L210 reaches the next level among dBTechnologies’ speaker range aimed at larger sound reinforcement applications. The internal acoustic design and sound processing developed by dBTechnologies’ R&D department merge to deliver outstanding performances in terms of sound pressure, coverage coherence, intelligibility and sound definition.
Made of solid multiplex plywood coated with a black polyurea finish, the housing of the dBTechnologies VIO L210 is fronted with a black grille for a sober, unobtrusive look that adapts easily to any scenic design. The cabinet is easy to handle thanks to its four handles, one per side and two on the back, and the amplifier module is protected with an integrated black raincover.
The acoustic enclosure of the dBTechnologies VIO L210 is completed by two aluminium phase plugs located in front of both 254 mm woofers. Their external surface continues the constant directivity high-frequency waveguide. Each phase plug features twenty-six diamond-shaped holes to reduce interference between the two low-frequency emission points and to improve frequency and transient response.
The two premium 254 mm neodymium transducers, positioned in a V form and sealed in a bass reflex enclosure, are custom-designed to improve efficiency. Their voice coils, made of copper plus aluminium coating, are designed to last in demanding conditions, providing accurate transient response and extended low-end reproduction. One 35.6 mm exit compression driver with a 76.2 mm voice coil accurately delivers high frequencies.
A new waveguide contributes to a cylindrical wavefront, allowing precise high-frequency directivity control to improve throw distance. The crossover frequency between the two ways is 950 Hz and each module guarantees uniform 100° horizontal coverage.
dBTechnologies VIO L210 features a double rotary user interface for manual processing. The first rotary provides low-frequency adjustments to control coupling effects depending on array dimensions. The second rotary compensates for high-frequency loss due to throw distance. Both rotaries offer accurate presets, while the dBTechnologies Composer prediction software provides more precise configurations. Any preset can be changed remotely via dBTechnologies Network.
