Dynaudio Delta 80 DSP is the flagship processing amplifier in the Delta series, built around the core principles of reliability, trust, and transparent amplification. It is designed to ensure that audio passing through the system is reproduced exactly as intended, while providing the power, control, and processing required for complex professional monitoring and installation systems.
Housed in a 2U chassis, Dynaudio Delta 80 DSP delivers exceptional output power, producing up to 2000W per channel into 4 ohms, or up to 4000W when channels are bridged. Despite this output capability, the amplifier maintains low distortion and noise performance, with THD measured at less than 0.18 percent at 1kHz. This combination of power and control makes it suitable for large-format monitors, high-output multi-way systems, and demanding fixed installations.
Dynaudio Delta 80 DSP supports up to four channels of audio, selectable individually between analogue, AES, and Dante network audio sources. When operating over Dante, audio conversion is handled by 24-bit, 96kHz analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue converters, with processing carried out at 96kHz throughout. In addition to amplification, Dynaudio Delta 80 DSP provides comprehensive onboard signal processing for system tuning and optimisation.
The integrated DSP offers three dynamic EQ bands and eight static EQ bands per input channel, nine static EQ bands per output, and a wide range of additional filter types including parametric, shelving, high-pass, low-pass, band-pass, notch, phase, and all-pass filters. Advanced crossover filters, delays, RMS and look-ahead peak limiters, and FIR processing are also included, allowing precise control over complex multi-way loudspeaker systems without the need for external processors.
Control and integration are further enhanced through wireless operation via the DeltaDirect iPad app, GPIO for remote control and monitoring, and redundant back-up amplifier inputs for increased system reliability. For streamlined system design, Dynaudio Delta 80 DSP can be connected directly to other Delta DSP amplifiers using a single Cat 5 cable, reducing cabling complexity and eliminating external processing hardware.
