NTI Audio M2230 Measurement Microphone

The NTI Audio M2230 is a Class 1 measurement microphone designed for high-precision acoustic analysis in combination with the XL2 or XL3 Sound Level Analyzers. Built to comply with the IEC 61672 standard, the NTI Audio M2230 features a robust metal diaphragm and is suitable for type-approved measurements when used with the XL2-TA system. Its omni-directional, free-field response ensures reliable performance across a wide frequency range from 5 Hz to 20 kHz.

The NTI Audio M2230 includes an integrated electronic data sheet containing model identification, sensitivity, and calibration information. When connected to a compatible analyzer, this data is automatically recognised via NTi Audio’s Automated Sensor Detection (ASD) system, guaranteeing accurate and consistent measurement results every time. Powered via standard 48 V phantom power, the NTI Audio M2230 offers dependable operation for noise assessments, building acoustics, environmental monitoring, and other professional measurement tasks.

Outdoor Measurement Microphones
The Outdoor Measurement Microphones offer a weather-protected measurement solution for the Sound Level Meter allowing acquisition of environmental noise data in outdoor applications. The corrosion-free polymer housing, wind screen, waterrepellent membrane and bird spike provide excellent protection from rain, wind, dust and perching birds.

The Outdoor Measurement Microphones M2230-WP and M2340-WP fulfill the Class 1 requirements according to IEC 61672 and ANSI S1.4 for horizontal and vertical sound incidence. For compliance with horizontal sound incidence a spectral correction is employed in the associated Sound Level Meter. The Outdoor Measurement Microphone M4262-WP fulfills the Class 2 requirements accordingly.
