The d&b Audiotechnik 27A Subwoofer is a compact, high-performance cardioid subwoofer powered by a single amplifier channel, designed for use with xS-Series and xA-Series loudspeakers.
The d&b Audiotechnik 27A Subwoofer features two long-excursion neodymium drivers in a cardioid configuration: a 15″ driver in a bass-reflex design facing forward and a 12″ driver in a two-chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear. The d&b Audiotechnik 27A SubwooferB can be used as a standalone unit, stacked, or as a base for mixed ground stacks, and can also be combined with d&b Audiotechnik 10A and 10AL loudspeakers in vertical flown arrays.
Constructed from marine plywood with a durable black paint finish, it is Ball Impact Resistant per DIN 18032-3 standards, suitable for use in schools and sports halls. The front is protected by a sturdy metal grille backed with acoustically transparent foam. The side panels include an integrated rigging system, and the rear panel features two NL4 connectors and a two-pole screw terminal block.
Available in any RAL colour with the Special Colour (SC) option, the d&b Audiotechnik 27A Subwoofer also offers a Weather Resistant (WR) version, rated IP55 for reliable performance in outdoor conditions.
