The d&b Audiotechnik 44S Loudspeaker is a passive 2-way loudspeaker featuring two 4.5” neodymium LF drivers and two 1.25″ HF dome tweeters mounted on a rotatable CD horn, offering a rotatable dispersion pattern of 90° x 30°.
d&b Audiotechnik 44S Loudspeaker
For flush mounting, the optional d&b Z5427.000 44S back box enables installation into ceilings or walls in either a horizontal or vertical position. The d&b Audiotechnik 44S Loudspeaker’s asymmetric cabinet shape allows for dispersion adjustment of +/- 20° in five-degree steps within the back box.
The loudspeaker functions as a standalone system or can be paired with actively driven d&b subwoofers. Constructed with an injection-moulded, impact-resistant paint finish, the cabinet’s front is protected by a sturdy metal grille. The back panel includes two M8 threaded inserts for various rigging accessories. The cabinet and most accessories are also available in the Special Colour (SC) option, customisable in any RAL colour.
