The Gainlab Audio Wizard Stereo Tube Saturator was developed in response to the growing demand for compact outboard gear that delivers the warmth and character of analogue sound in modern project and home studios. Designed for full versatility, it allows users to enrich any recording with tube saturation, from subtle harmonic colouration to more pronounced analogue drive.
With dedicated Input and Output controls, saturation levels can be finely tailored to suit the source material, while the Feed function adds extra flexibility by suppressing clean content at the output for deeper saturation control.
The Gainlab Audio Wizard includes Bias control as standard, enabling precise shaping of tube performance, but it goes further by offering tonal shaping through a built-in three-band preset equaliser and a high-pass filter.
These additions allow for unusually wide variations in saturation character. Dynamic response can also be influenced with the Pressure control, based on vari-mu compression, providing even greater creative scope. Clear metering is provided for both output level and the degree of saturation, alongside indicators for dynamic processing.
To streamline workflow, Gainlab Audio includes Session Recall integration with the Gainlab Audio Wizard. This software enables easy storage and recall of complete device settings, making it particularly valuable in hybrid studio environments where analogue gear must be integrated efficiently with DAWs.
